In October 2021, Salesforce announced its plans to acquire the cloud communications platform provider, Dialpad, for $5 billion.

In September 2021, Salesforce announced the launch of Salesforce+, a new streaming platform that offers a mix of live and on-demand content for business professionals.

In August 2021, Salesforce announced its acquisition of Servicetrace, a leading provider of robotic process automation (RPA) solutions, to enhance its Service Cloud offering.
